Citizen Media Law Project's Online Guide to Media Law

The Berkman Center at Harvard announced that it has completed the Citizen Media Law Project's "Online Guide to Media Law."  The guide covers the risks associated with publishing online, including defamation and privacy law and is targeted for use by bloggers, website operators, and other citizen media creators.  The guide focuses on the legal issues that non-traditional and traditional journalists are likely to encounter as they gather information and publish their work online.  Although the free guide may qualify at some level as competition, it's a great project.  Here's the link to their blog.  Here's a link to the guide: http://www.citmedialaw.org/legal-guide
